Terms of Service

By installing, accessing, or using the BASEN Green Iraq app you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and by our Privacy Policy. We may update the terms from time to time as described in section 13.

You must be at least thirteen (13) years old to create an account. If you are under the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction, you may only use the service with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to be bound by these terms on your behalf.

The service is intended primarily for use in the Republic of Iraq. You are responsible for complying with the laws of any other jurisdiction from which you access it.

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information when you sign up, and to keep that information up to date.

You are responsible for keeping your password confidential. Do not share your account with anyone. Notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized access.

You may have only one personal account at a time. We may suspend or close duplicate or fraudulent accounts.

You agree not to misuse the service. In particular, you will not: attempt to reverse-engineer or tamper with the app or our servers; use automated tools to scrape or overload the service; submit false information or fabricated product serial numbers; impersonate another person; or use the service for any unlawful purpose.

We may investigate any suspected breach of these rules and take action including warning, suspending, or terminating accounts.

The solar calculator inside the app produces estimates of system size, energy production, and savings based on the inputs you provide and on standard assumptions about your location. Real-world performance depends on many factors including weather, shading, roof condition, electrical infrastructure, and installation quality.

The calculator output is for guidance only. It is not a binding offer, a guarantee of production, or a substitute for an on-site survey by a qualified BASEN engineer. Final design and pricing always require an in-person assessment and a signed quotation.

Any quotation generated through the app is an indicative offer. It becomes binding only after a BASEN representative confirms it in writing and you sign the official sales document.

Pricing in the app may change without notice, subject to material costs, exchange rates, and product availability. Quotations are typically valid for fourteen (14) days from the date they are generated, unless stated otherwise.

Payment terms, delivery dates, warranty, and after-sales service are governed by the official sales document signed at purchase, not by these terms.

The app includes a loyalty programme that lets you earn points by scanning the serial number printed on genuine BASEN products and redeem those points for rewards listed in the in-app catalogue.

Each serial number can credit points to one account, one time only. Points have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for money or transferred between accounts.

We may at any time adjust point values, change the rewards catalogue, expire unused points, or cancel the programme. We will give reasonable notice through the app where practical.

We may revoke points or close an account if we determine in good faith that the points were obtained by fraud, abuse, or any breach of these terms — for example by scanning serials from products you do not own, or by submitting fake referrals.

The BASEN Green Iraq name, logo, app, website, content, design, and software are owned by BASEN Green Iraq and are protected by Iraqi and international intellectual-property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or create derivative works without our prior written consent, except as expressly allowed by law.

We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app for the purposes described in these terms.

Anything you submit through the app — for example notes attached to a quotation or messages to support — remains yours. You grant us a worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, and display that content for the purpose of operating the service.

You are responsible for the content you submit. Do not upload content that is illegal, offensive, or that infringes the rights of any third party.

You may delete your account at any time by writing to [email protected]. We will process the request within thirty (30) days as described in our Privacy Policy.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the service at any time, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have breached these terms, if continuing your access would expose us or other users to legal or security risk, or if we discontinue the service.

Sections 8, 11, 12, and 13 of these terms survive termination.

The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Except as required by law, we make no warranties — express or implied — about the availability, accuracy, or reliability of the service, the calculator, the points programme, or any third-party content.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BASEN Green Iraq, its directors, employees, and partners will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of the service. Our total aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with these terms will not exceed the equivalent of fifty United States dollars (USD 50).

Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, gross negligence, wilful misconduct, or any liability that cannot be limited under Iraqi law.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Iraq. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with the service that cannot be resolved amicably shall be submitted to the competent courts of Erbil, Iraq.

If any provision of these terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect.

We may update these terms from time to time. When we make material changes we will update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you through the app. Continued use of the service after the changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
